Where should your message go?

Keep it short. You can add images and details once the app opens.

Before you send: This channel does not replace an examination, a diagnosis or treatment advice. In an emergency in Turkey, call 112. How your message and images are handled is set out in the privacy notice.

What this channel is for

It can be used for two kinds of message:

  • Notes about the articles on this site: typographical errors, outdated information, requests for sources, corrections
  • A request for preliminary information on whether your own situation is suitable for an in-person examination

How the reply comes

The reply is given through the channel you wrote from: by WhatsApp if you wrote on WhatsApp, by email if you wrote by email.

Your message does not pass through this site. The send button only opens your own WhatsApp or email app with the text filled in; you review the message and send it yourself. If you would like to add images, you can do so once the app has opened.

The WhatsApp line is for written messages only; voice calls are not accepted.

What this channel does not replace

An assessment made from a message or an image is not a medical decision or advice; it is preliminary information only. No diagnosis is made, no treatment plan is drawn up, no medication or procedure is recommended. A medical assessment is given after an in-person examination at Mengucek Gazi Training and Research Hospital.

This site does not take appointments or give price information.

In an emergency in Turkey, call 112.
